Biography

I am a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, a member of the Hellenic Psychoanalytical Association and the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA).

I was born in Greece and raised in Germany. I live and work in Athens.

I have many years of clinical experience working in mental health institutions in the public sector, while simultaneously I am in private practice, working psychoanalytically with adolescents and adults.

I think of psychoanalysis as a place where one can find acceptance and understanding when faced with difficulties in life. A safe space to create a relationship that will allow the patient to get to know and comprehend parts of him/her self and his/her past from a different angle, so that he/she can face the reality of life with more satisfaction and less distress.
